Leafy branches, a relaxed drape

Oliva brings a leaf pattern and fringed edge to a loose sofa throw. Compare Sage Leaf, Silver Leaf and Black Leaf, then choose from three listed rectangular sizes by measuring the surfaces and hanging edges you want to cover.

SLENDER LEAVES, A RELAXED FINISH

Bring botanical detail to the heart of the room

The Sofa Decor Oliva Leaf Fringe Sofa Throw Cover pairs slender leafy branches with a pale background and fringed edge. The pattern continues over the back, seat and arms for a loose, decorative drape.

The leafy shapes provide the main pattern, while a narrow tonal border and short mixed-colour fringe add detail at the edge. Let the leaves lead, with simpler accessories around them.

Choose your colour, then decide where you want the pattern and fringe to fall on your sofa.

Sage Leaf draped across the seat, back and arms.

THREE BOTANICAL COLOURWAYS

Choose green, grey or stronger contrast

Choose from Sage Leaf, Silver Leaf and Black Leaf. Each places slender leaf motifs against a pale ground.

Sage Leaf brings green branches into the room. Echo them with a plain green cushion or nearby plant, without needing every shade to match.

Silver Leaf has grey motifs for a cooler, quieter colour direction. Pale cushions can repeat the background and keep the leaves in focus.

Black Leaf gives the strongest dark-on-light contrast. Let it be the main pattern, or pair it with a smaller motif elsewhere in the room.

MAKE THE DRAPE YOUR OWN

Choose which parts of your sofa stay visible

Let the fabric fall in broad folds for a casual look, or spread it more evenly to show the leaf shapes. The loose edge is part of the arrangement.

Cover the seat and back while leaving the arms exposed, or carry the pattern over them too. Each creates a different balance of throw and original upholstery.

A shorter front drop reveals more of the base; a longer one brings more pattern into view. Include the rear if your sofa stands in the middle of the room.

Plan the route of the rectangular throw across those surfaces. Seat count alone does not account for the fabric needed over arms, backs and drops.

Sage Leaf follows an arm and falls down the side.

THREE LISTED RECTANGLES

Compare both sides with your coverage plan

Each colour is listed in 180x260cm, 180x340cm and 180x420cm:

Size in the selectorListed dimensionsWhat changes
180x260cm180 × 260 cmThe shortest of the three rectangles.
180x340cm180 × 340 cmAdds 80 cm to the longer side compared with 180x260cm.
180x420cm180 × 420 cmAdds another 80 cm to the longer side compared with 180x340cm.

One side stays at 180 cm. The other side increases by 80 cm with each option, adding fabric in that direction only.

If the longer side runs across the seat and arms, extra length there changes the side drape. It does not create more depth along the unchanged side.

These are listed dimensions, not verified sofa-fit ranges. Finished tolerances and fringe inclusion are unconfirmed; ask about them if your edge position needs to be precise.

Illustrative relative proportions only; written size labels are the comparison. No sofa or seat-count fit is implied.

MEASURE THE COMPLETE ROUTE

Follow the fabric over your furniture

Use a flexible tape with the cushions in their intended positions. Include every rise over an arm, turn over a back and drop you want.

Across the seat and arms

Start at one intended side edge, follow the route over the arm and seat, then over the opposite arm to its finishing point.

Check where the sofa shape changes. A wider back or broad arm may need more fabric than the seat alone.

From the back to the front edge

Measure from your preferred rear edge, over the back and seat, down to the front finishing point.

Include any folds or tucks separately. Fabric used in a gap is no longer available for a visible drop.

Compare the two routes together

Keep both totals and note which fabric side follows each one. If you rotate the throw, recheck both routes and the direction of the leaves and fringe.

LEAVES, BORDER AND FRINGE

Arrange the pattern before setting the edges

Position the main leafy area first, then bring the narrow border and fringe into view. A continuous front line gives a more ordered finish.

Balance the fabric at the back, front and sides before adjusting smaller folds. Moving it towards one edge reduces the drop at the opposite edge.

Stand back to check the leaf pattern from your usual view of the sofa. Let the motifs follow the furniture contours rather than trying to align every branch.

Add cushions after arranging the throw. Group them to one side if you want to reveal a larger uninterrupted area of leaves.

WORK WITH YOUR SOFA SHAPE

Plan a chaise or corner in separate areas

A chaise has a longer seat route than the section beside it. A corner changes direction, so it needs its own coverage plan.

Sketch the layout and measure each intended area. A longer rectangle alone does not establish coverage for an L-shaped sofa.

An existing sheet can help you picture folds and exposed areas, but its size and behaviour may differ. Confirm suitability and supplied contents before planning quantities.
