MAKE A STATEMENT IN IVORY AND BLACK

Bold geometry for your favourite gathering place

Give your seating a striking new focus with the Sofa Decor Nala Geometric Plush Sofa Throw Cover. Large black diamonds sit on an ivory ground, framed by narrower bands of triangles, zigzags and smaller diamonds.

The raised surface adds detail within the pattern, while an ivory-and-black fringe finishes the lower edge. Let the bands sweep across the seat and bend into relaxed folds over the arms.

Choose from three listed sizes in Ivory Black. Plan the main sofa and any chaise separately, then confirm the dimensions and number of covers you need for your arrangement.

A STRONG PATTERN WITH SMALLER DETAILS

Let Ivory Black set the tone

Ivory Black is the sole Colour option. The large diamonds give the throw its bold look, while raised ivory strands and smaller repeated shapes add detail up close.

Keep cushions simple to give Nala's geometric bands room to stand out. Plain ivory cushions create a lighter arrangement; black accents echo the darker shapes.

For a more layered room, pair the throw with a rug or cushion pattern in a different scale. Leave some of the broad geometric bands visible so the sofa keeps its focal point.

Ask us for the fibre, pile height and fabric weight if you have a particular feel in mind. Lighting and screens affect the ivory shade, so check any close colour match before ordering.

THREE LISTED SIZES

Choose the dimensions for your planned drape

Choose 180x260cm, 180x340cm or 180x420cm. These are listed fabric dimensions in centimetres; compare both sides with the areas you want to cover.

Current Size labelListed side 1 (cm)Listed side 2 (cm)
180x260cm180260
180x340cm180340
180x420cm180420

One side stays at 180 cm. The other increases by 80 cm between sizes, from 260 to 340 to 420 cm. Moving up a size adds length in that direction only.

Check both orientations against your sofa measurements. Turning the throw changes the direction of the pattern as well as the fabric, so plan the look and coverage together.

The labels do not guarantee a particular seat-count fit. Confirm finished measurements, tolerances and whether the fringe is included, especially if your coverage is close to a listed size.

MEASURE FOR THE LOOK YOU WANT

Follow the back, seat and chosen drop

With a flexible tape, measure from your chosen starting point behind or over the backrest, down to the seat and across it to the front edge.

Add the front drop you want. Keep the back, seat and drop measurements separate as well as noting the total, so you can adjust your plan easily.

Measure with cushions and backrests in their usual positions. Note any differences between the left and right sides.

Measure the crosswise route separately, including the journey over each arm and down the side if you want those areas covered.

Add any fabric you want for folds or tucking. Compare both totals with both listed sides; a longer option cannot make up for a shortfall along the shared 180 cm side.

A DECORATIVE FINISH

Let the fringe frame the pattern

Ivory-and-black fringe brings a finer line of detail below the larger motifs. Let it hang along the front and sides to frame the sofa's lower outline.

Choose a short drop to leave more of the base visible, or a longer fall for a broader sweep of pattern. Include your preferred stopping point when measuring.

Decide where you want the fabric and fringe to finish, then include those positions in your coverage plan.

Check the front and both corners after arranging. Folds around the arms can change the edge position, so adjust gradually until the fringe sits where you want it.

MAKE THE DRAPE YOUR OWN

Choose where the geometric bands lead

Drape the pattern over the arms for a fuller covered look, or leave an arm visible to contrast with the ivory-and-black design. The folds become part of the pattern.

Include each covered arm in the rectangle's crosswise route, following the top and outside face. A broad arm and long side drop use more fabric than the top width alone.

Position a favourite band along the front, then check the remaining coverage at the back and sides. Moving the throw changes both the visible motifs and the available drop.

A smooth arrangement shows more of the complete pattern; loose folds give it a more casual look. Exact motif positions will depend on your sofa, chosen size and arrangement.

STYLE A SOFA AND CHAISE

Give each direction its own plan

Across the main sofa, broad bands can create a strong horizontal line. Running the design lengthwise along a chaise brings the pattern forward into the room.

Measure the chaise from your chosen rear starting point to the front, including its drop. Measure across it separately with the side coverage you want.

Decide where the main seating area and chaise arrangement should meet. A visible edge, overlap or change in pattern direction will each give a different finish.

Confirm the required covers and supplied quantities before ordering. The options are rectangles, rather than named left-chaise, right-chaise or complete sectional sets.

Pattern across the main sofa and lengthwise along the chaise.

GOOD TO KNOW

Check contents, care and practical needs

The options are Colour and Size, with no separate cushion-cover selection. Use your own cushions and accessories to complete the room.

Check what your chosen option includes before ordering, especially if you want matching cushions or covers for both the sofa and chaise.

Follow the product's supplied care label. Ask for washing and drying instructions before ordering if a particular cleaning routine matters to your household.

Reposition the loose throw after use as needed. Ask about any spill or pet-protection requirements before choosing. For adjustable furniture, check suitability and keep fabric clear of moving mechanisms.

Nala Geometric plush throw cover buying notes

The Nala Geometric plush throw cover is a good fit for customers who want a softer, warmer sofa layer with a clear black-and-white pattern. It suits living rooms where the cover is part of the styling, not only a protective layer. Use it across a seat run, over a back section or as a relaxed throw where the sofa needs more texture and comfort during cooler months.

Because this is a draped cover, the final look depends on the sofa shape, cushion depth and how much fabric you prefer to tuck or leave visible. Nala is best for shoppers looking for a plush couch cover that adds comfort, pattern and easy seasonal change without a fitted-slipcover look.
