A closer look at Milan

A repeating textured pattern gives Milan its distinctive appearance. Choose covers for the individual components you want to refresh, using the numbered colour codes and 1pc specifications. The guide below explains standard seat and Plus ranges, separate back and chaise choices, and how to organise your measurements.

About these measurements
Match the gallery arrows to each component, including its thickness. Confirm the chaise shape and orientation; a complete sofa photograph is not an included set.

A COORDINATED CUSHION REFRESH

Fine pattern with the frame still on show

Refresh individual cushions with the Sofa Decor Milan Twill Stretch Sofa Slipcover. Small repeating angled shapes add detail across the seats and backs, while the visible sofa frame keeps the arrangement defined.

Choose a close colour match for a quiet, coordinated look or let the cushions contrast with the arms and base. The modest pattern scale leaves room for your own decorative cushions and other accessories.

Plan each cushion separately, then choose its Color and Specification together. Available combinations vary by colour, so check the pieces you need before planning a complete arrangement.

SMALL PATTERN, MORE DETAIL

Let the angled texture add interest

Small angular marks repeat across the surface. The larger area reads as a broad colour, with finer light and dark edges to enjoy up close.

Pair the pattern with plain cushions for a calmer look, or use a larger accessory pattern for contrast. Include the exposed arms, base and piping in your colour plan.

Fibre composition and a measured stretch range are unconfirmed. Twill Stretch is the product name, rather than a verified material or weave specification; request details if a particular fibre or feel matters to you.

ONE COVER AT A TIME

Build your order from the cushions you have

Every Specification begins with 1pc, identifying a one-piece option. The label 1pc 3 Seater names one chart choice, rather than three supplied covers.

Sketch the sofa and label each cushion you want covered. Keep separate entries for adjoining seats until you have checked that their shapes and measurements match.

For each cushion, record:

  • Its type and W, L and H measurements in the chart’s directions.
  • The exact Specification you are considering.
  • The chosen Color code.
  • The quantity needed for that exact combination.

Count pieces from your plan and confirm any additional contents. Matching decorative cushion covers, inserts, headrest covers and a complete sofa set are not established as included.

CHECK EACH COMPLETE ROW

Standard and Plus have different proportions

Standard seat rows list W of 45–60 cm; Plus seat rows list W of 65–90 cm. Both groups have H of 5–20 cm, while L varies by option.

For example, 1pc 4 Seater and 1pc plus XL share L of 165–200 cm but have different W ranges. Other standard and Plus pairings also differ in L, so Plus does not mean only a width change.

These are printed chart guidance ranges, not independently verified finished-cover dimensions or guaranteed fits.

Preserve the gaps when comparing: standard W ends at 60 cm and Plus starts at 65 cm; plus M L ends at 130 cm and plus L starts at 135 cm. Ask for advice if your measurement falls between ranges rather than rounding it or assuming stretch.

Illustration only, not to scale. Compare W, L and H within one chart row.

GIVE EACH SHAPE ITS OWN CHECK

Measure backs and chaises separately

The back-cover and chaise-longue options have their own rows. Measure those cushions separately from the seats, even if they look similar from the front.

Follow the specific drawing: on the back-cover face, L runs horizontally and W vertically. Keep H as the thickness measurement rather than substituting upright cushion height.

For a chaise, record the full outline and projecting section as well as W, L and H. Include a photo if it differs from the drawing.

Left- and right-hand compatibility is unconfirmed. Check the cushion shape, projection direction and access around its edges before selecting the chaise option.

CHOOSE THE COLOUR FOR YOUR ROOM

Keep the code with each piece

The table pairs the exact numbered Color labels with their pictured appearance. Keep those codes in your notes when choosing pieces for a coordinated arrangement.

Color 13Brown
Color 10Beige
Color 08Blue

Color 07Orange
Color 04Navy
Color 05Yellow

Check every required Specification with your preferred code. Color 01 is pictured with a chaise but has no chaise variant; Color 06 also does not offer every component shown in its room scene.

Review both selectors after changing either choice. Work through your cushion list and check the exact colour, Specification and quantity for each line.

Grey Color 01 gives a neutral starting point, while Color 06 has a sage-green appearance for a muted colour accent. Lighting and screens affect shade, so confirm any essential match.

FOLLOW THE CUSHION SHAPE

Measure without compressing the filling

Use a flexible tape with the cushion in its usual shape. Follow the corresponding chart arrows and record centimetres throughout.

Check W, L and H separately, noting any taper, curve or change in thickness. Top and side photos can help explain an unusual cushion.

Check access to the edges and underside. Attached cushions or fixed upholstery need a compatibility check as well as a size comparison.

Follow the supplied fitting instructions and match each piece to your plan. A particular zip, tie or fastening system is unconfirmed; pause if the shape or attachment method is unclear.

GOOD TO KNOW

Check care and practical requirements

Follow the supplied care label. Ask for washing and drying instructions before ordering if a particular cleaning routine matters to your household.

Waterproofing, grip, stain resistance and resistance to pet damage are unverified. Confirm any specific protective requirement before relying on the covers for it.

Keep your measurements, exact colour codes and confirmed contents together. They provide a useful reference for checking the pieces when they arrive.

A FEW HELPFUL ANSWERS

Choosing your Milan covers

Does “1pc 3 Seater” include three seat covers?Read answerClose answer

It is labelled 1pc; 3 Seater names the chart option. Plan one-piece selections around your measured cushions and check any additional contents separately.

My cushion’s chart W is 63 cm. Should I choose Plus?Read answerClose answer

63 cm falls between standard W of 45–60 cm and Plus W of 65–90 cm. Send all three measurements and a photo for advice before choosing.

What if my length is exactly at the end of two ranges?Read answerClose answer

Check W, L, H and the cushion outline together. If more than one row still appears possible, ask for confirmation rather than assuming an endpoint guarantees fit.

Can I choose a headrest or armrest cover here?Read answerClose answer

There is no dedicated headrest or armrest option. Confirm any proposed use of a back cover before choosing it for another component.

Why can’t I select the same piece in every colour?Read answerClose answer

The available pairs vary by colour. Check your exact code and Specification; another colour’s options do not establish the same choice for yours.

Does the chaise option fit either side of a sofa?Read answerClose answer

Left- and right-hand suitability is unconfirmed. Send the outline, projecting section, measurements and orientation to check before ordering.

How can I style the small pattern with my cushions?Read answerClose answer

Plain cushions let the finer marks stand out. For more pattern, choose a larger scale and repeat one colour from the room. Leave some covered seating visible to show the texture.

What should I include when asking for size help?Read answerClose answer

Send the exact Specification and Color code, W/L/H in centimetres and clear cushion photos. Mention attached upholstery, limited underside access or an unusual chaise shape.

Milan gives individual sofa cushions a fitted, textured finish. The gallery shows separate covers around seat cushions, backs and chaise sections, so you can plan a coordinated arrangement piece by piece.

Choose the piece you need

The Specification menu separates seat, Plus, back-cover and chaise-longue options. Each option name includes 1pc; the complete sofa arrangements in the gallery should not be read as a single included set. Available piece choices depend on the colour selected.
