Sofa Decor Fit and Protection Testing Methodology

Sofa Decor's authority content should be based on visible measurements, product details, customer-use evidence and repeatable home tests. This page defines the test framework we will use as product pages, guides and case studies are upgraded.

Fit checks

  • Record sofa width, seat depth, back height, arm shape and cushion configuration.
  • Record the selected Sofa Decor product, size, colour and number of pieces.
  • Classify the result as compatible, likely compatible or not tested.
  • Photograph the cover from the front, side, seat area and back where possible.
  • Note limitations such as rounded arms, loose cushions, leather-like surfaces or unusual modular shapes.

Protection checks

  • Light-spill observation: whether water beads, absorbs immediately or needs prompt blotting.
  • Pet-hair removal: whether hair shakes off, vacuums easily or clings to the texture.
  • Grip observation: whether the cover moves on fabric, smooth fabric or leather-like upholstery.
  • Washing observation: visible shrinkage, colour change, drying time and texture change after care instructions are followed.

Publication rules

Each published test should include the test date, product variant, surface used, method, result and limitation. If a result has not been tested, the page should say so instead of implying proof. Customer photos, reviews and case studies must be used only where there is a real record and permission to publish.
